Another peek at our trip to Maryland. This was my main course at the Bartlett Pear Inn. The Lamb trio. Basil encrusted rack of Lamb chop, braised Lamb shoulder, Inn cured prosciutto, and white beans in Lamb jus.
We also had the best soup ever… a Mushroom “Veloute” made with chanterelle, lobster, and morels. A ‘side’ of Inn made fries with Bearnaise dipping sauce and malt vinegar ketchup. Brett had the “Cioppino” for his main course, which was a seafood stew of wild scallops, shrimp, octopus, cockles, lump crab, and fennel. For dessert, we had a cardamom pot de creme and a chocolate tart with moccha ice cream. It was all to die for! And I thought I would have since I over ate. It was worth it… in all ways.
